General:
Use standard images as AR overlay to visually present products, ads, persons or similar
Images offer a basic button functionality and can trigger a defined action “on click” in the final AR experience
How to:
- Click on image icon in content toolbar to start the upload dialogue
- Link the desired image from your local drive
- After the upload a thumbnail of your image will be visible in the scenario editor
- Click on the thumbnail inside the scenario editor to move/position the element via drag & drop and to access the settings
Settings:


Name: Select a unique name for your video element
Source: Name of uploaded source file and button to replace uploaded image “on the fly”
Size: Set individual size of image (by width and height, aspect ratio is fixed)
Position: Set individual position of image (by x and y)
Opacity: Set transparency level of image (0 = fully transparent, 1= no transparency)
Rotation: Set rotation of image (by °)
Arrange: Define hierarchy in between different content elements
Fix to Screen: Disconnects image from trigger image and fixes it to screen so it will always be shown on same position, no matter how trigger image is moved
Hidden:Makes image invisible at start of AR experience (to e.g. let it appear by a Button interaction at a later time)
Select Protocol: Select action that will be executed when image is clicked by user
- Open weblink – add URL
- Send email – add email
- Call telephone number – add number
Unique ID: Internal ID of content element, mostly used for referencing inside HTML fragments
Format & Restrictions:
- Compatible formats: jpg, jpeg, png, gif
- Special: .gif animations can be uploaded as image as well
- File size restriction: max 3 MB
